Common questions
How long can I stay?
The visa is commonly granted for up to three, six or twelve months, depending on your plans and circumstances. The grant letter shows your conditions.
Can I work or study?
Visitor visas do not allow work. Study is limited. We explain the exact conditions when you book.
Can my relative in Australia help my application?
Yes. Their invitation, proof of status and support can strengthen your application, and in some cases the Sponsored Family stream applies.
What if my visa is refused?
Refusals are recorded and can affect future applications. A pre-lodgement review helps you present your case clearly the first time.
Planning a visit?
We review your documents before you apply, so your application is complete and clear.
